We invite you to participate „From Design to Operation: Life Cycle Approach in Construction and Real Estate Management” Course

 

The course will take place on November 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2025.

 

By participating in the Course, you will improve your competences in the following areas:

 

  1. Understanding and applying the principles of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Costing (LCC) in construction and real estate management.
  2. Ability to analyze costs and value of real estate objects throughout their life cycle.
  3. Knowledge of different forms of real estate management (public, private, housing, university property, industrial facilities).
  4. Practical use of methods and tools such as Building Maintenance Management (BMM), Facility Management (FM), Assets Management (AM), and BIM.
  5. Skills in teamwork, communication, and decision-making in interdisciplinary projects.
  6. Awareness of the importance of sustainable and efficient management of real estate for the economy and society.

For whom?

We are looking for individuals from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, as well as individuals from the Technische Universität Darmstadt who belong to the following groups:

  1. Academic teacher (e.g. Professor, Associate Professor, Lecturer)
  2. Research staff (scientific and research-technical employees)
  3. Non-academic staff in higher education / research institutions (participation must be justified by the subject matter of the project)
  4. Other staff in scientific/research units (participation must be justified by the subject matter of the project)
  5. PhD student

The Course  is conducted in English.

Additional information:

In accordance with §4 point 5 of the Recruitment Regulations, Candidates are assessed on the basis of the criteria specified in the Recruitment Form.  Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation. Participation in the training is free of charge. Qualified participants will be able to receive funding for travel, subsistence and accommodation costs during the training after the training has taken place. The lump sum rates have been specified in the Beneficiary's Handbook." Qualified persons can obtain information from Kinga Kondas, e-mail: kinga.kondas@pwr.edu.pl
